Is it just me or is anyone else seeing the parallels between Vandrake's way of running the Underworld and the mess Donald Trump, Elon Muskrat, and D.O.G.E are creating in the U.S.?
I was feeling bored of replaying the same VNs over and over and figured I'd try this VN after seeing a fan video of a cute little dog getting thrown out of an elevator at a pile of demons, all the while whining about how embarrassing it was.
Needless to say, I am STUNNED!! This was so much more incredible than I ever thought it would be! Every twist and turn had something I didn't expect until the very last second. Despite it's fantastical nature, it was realistic and easy to get behind. The emotions and the romance were beautiful, and I'm left with another VN in my library that I can't wait to see continued.
The only note I have is that the music doesn't necessarily fit every scene. The music would often be happy when it's supposed to be sad, sweet when it's supposed to be tense, and I felt my immersion often being broken by the strange choices. Though, I know that this VN is still in development, and even then this is a minor fault at best.
This is truly an amazing VN and I honestly cannot wait to see it finished.
